After taking over in 2018 and leading the Ravens to an AFC North title, Lamar Jackson helped reshape Baltimore’s offense — and John Harbaugh believes the former MVP can still reach another level.
In 2018, the Baltimore Ravens made a switch at quarterback from Joe Flacco to Lamar Jackson. Jackson led the Ravens to a 6-1 record and an AFC North division title. From there, the Ravens built their offense around Jackson’s elite skill set, and head coach John Harbaugh believes there’s still another level to reach.
Former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh recently joined The Ryan Ripken Show and talked about Lamar Jackson, including why he believes there’s still another level ahead.
“I’m proud of Lamar, proud of what we accomplished together, proud of the quarterback he’s become and what he’s done… We were so close, we were right there and couldn’t quite get it done… now let’s get the next evolution of Lamar and see what can be done.”
Jackson has already proven he can lead the Ravens to wins and division titles. Now, as Harbaugh put it, the challenge is to find the “next evolution” and finally finish the job.
